The Artist

CGreene Eclectic Imaginings in Jewelry is about creating unique jewelry for individuals. Each piece is a collection of objects intended to capture an individual expression with color, texture & motion, and, each leaving a distinct impression - some with great detail and movement, others with striking color, and all encouraging touch.

CGreene is also about my passion for collecting unique objects of many colors, textures, and shapes -- including  vintage glass, artisan lampwork, as well as swarovski crystals, stones, and stones. When mixed, these elements as a collection generate interest and hopefully more.

Each piece is individually and personally designed and constructed using the finest materials (no base metal, plastic, etc.).  The inspiration for each piece is almost always color - from the world around me -- art, nature, my friends, and everywhere I look.  The implementation of that inspiration starts with selecting the elements that best realize that vision.

Besides color, a common theme - is motion -- whether in the jointed earrings,  bracelets, drops or necklaces full of joined elements.  Motion is achieved by hand attaching each element -- sometimes three hundred or more -- using sterling wire.

My transition to jewelry design from the world of high tech began more than 10 years ago with the desire to have balance and the simple act of taking a class at a local store.  After years of practice, more classes and encouragement from friends, CGreene Eclectic Imaginings in Jewelry was born in July, 1999.

Since then, you may have seen my work at one of the following:
